What happened?!
Burnout set in as social media became mainstream, primarily the cause of the lack of updates and gaps between entries. Recently, maintaining a blog became less enjoyable and felt more like an obligation and chore. I’ve lost my ✨sparkle, like a 🌟star that’s lost its shine.
I’ve spent over half of my life maintaining a blog and creating websites. As it became trendy in the early 2000s (during my teen years), it sparked my interest. Never in a million years did I think I’d be coding (HTML, PHP, and CSS) and creating themes (layouts) and graphics for websites and blogs. It’s been a journey, and I’ve made a ton of friends (online and offline) and memories along the way.
The decision to discontinue my blog and closing this chapter of my life was exactly what I needed to do. It wasn’t a decision that I took lightly, but it makes the most sense. It’s not logical for me to devote my time, effort, and money (for domains and hosting) into something I’m no longer passionate about.
Whether you’ve been following me for a year, or the last 20 years, I appreciate your friendship, love, and support. The comments, and messages (e-mails) have meant so much and have made this entire journey incredibly worthwhile. I really appreciate it. Thank you so much.
I will continue to be active on social media.
